"Used Hostal Roma to break the drive between Santander and Marbella. This was excellent value. The room was basic but clean, the staff were young and enthusiastic and the checkout was quick and problem free. "The hotel was in a fabulous setting in an old monastery. Notwithstanding its age, it had been modernised sympathetically and had the benefit of historical features with the comforts of modern age. We have stayed with Parador hotels before in Salamanca and feel they offer great value for money."
