"Seems to have its dining room and other normal ground floor amenities somewhere over the years but being centrally located this is no problem. It does offer a bistro and hot meals throughout the day but not quite what you would expect of a hotel of this size. However, no complaints and I will be staying again "

"The Villa is a bit of an institution. It has been a restaurant and hotel since my childhood and I returned to stay there in a visit to friends. The reception staff were warm and welcoming. The room I had was comfortable and well stocked with refreshments. Breakfast was traditional and food cooked to order - none of the overcooked and limp looking buffet food you get elsewhere. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I understand that the place is up for sale and I hope that any new owners will not turn it into a crazily expensive spa or similar that would not be in keeping with its personality. "

"Beautiful hotel. It smells amazing as you walk in. The instructions we received were clear and we even had a complimentary upgrade to the penthouse. So happy with our stay. Comfortable beds which we have not found in any other hotel we have stayed! Clean, complimentary coffee etc. We stay in preston several times a year as our daughter is at university, and normally stay in the travellodge which was rather grim. So pleased we have found this hotel. Literally in the centre of town, car park across the street. Staff were happy and so polite. Hopefully, it'll be available when we next go to preston. "
