"Stayed here recently and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The overall condition of the property feels quite poor and in need of refurbishment. The rooms and facilities seem outdated and would really benefit from a proper upgrade. One of the main issues was the noise — we could clearly hear flushing and plumbing from the room above, which was quite disruptive, especially at night. Parking was also misleading. The listing suggests that parking is included, but in reality it is not, which caused confusion and inconvenience on arrival. Overall, the hotel has potential due to its location, but in its current condition it does not offer good value. A significant upgrade and clearer information for guests would make a big difference."

"Dated & expensive for state of hotel"

"Room good size but needed but of maintenance. Marks on walls, wallpaper coming off. A bit dated but comfortable bed. Bath had 2 long hairs in it but otherwise clean. Car park small and managed to get last space. Saw 2 other cars come in but no spaces left. Also sign saying non residents could park for a fee? Do not think this should be allowed given size of car park. Must be difficult for guests with children and luggage if they can't get a space."

"Brilliant location for our Dalesway walk and staff were just brilliant as our time changed a couple of times during the days walking meaning we were later than expected but staff dealt with brilliantly and always with a smile"

"Clean rooms, the bar staff at night in the function room were fantastic. Breakfast staff lovely, food for breakfast was excellent, lots of choice. All the staff very helpful and friendly."
