"The house was exactly as the photos show - well equipped, clean and comfortable with a view over the marina and the river. We had to call our hosts with a power issue on our first night and they couldn't have been more helpful. We weren't there on holiday so didn't get chance to explore the town or area properly but hope to do so on future visits."

"Very horrible, the apartment posted on the site is totally different and my family was exposed to the cold before they could find an alternative one. Very unprofessional and might be in a process of start some legal action "

"Large kitchen well stocked with utensils and crockery. Beds comfortable and showers were hot. Good food at the adjoining fish and chips shop next door. Lovely walk to town centre along the river. Would stay there again."

"Location good as we came to go to a family party in Castor. Rooms spacious, furnishing basic We booked for a party of 8, however there were only 6 dining chairs, 6 metal knives and only 5 mugs, of which one had a broken handle. So, provision of equipment was not adequate for the party size booked. There was no check-in information provided. A code for the key safe was e-mailed and sent via text at 1pm of day of arrival, but we had no notice that this was to be the process and we had to chase...

"A perfect location for our young family for a stay over Christmas, with plenty space and private garden views. Lyn is an excellent host, and the Cottage is a wonderfully presented property. Everything we needed was provided. We had a very comfortable stay and hope to return in future."
