"Fine, friendly, liked the inclusive treats (jelly beans, limoncello). Would have preferred a higher room than the basement. Curtains open means those in car park could see directly in, at least have some frosting. Otherwise good though! "

"A very old property which needs some very much needed maintenance. The first room we were offered had the bathroom sink nearly hanging off the wall, and the upgraded room had a bath which was unusable because the waste had fallen off the side of the very deep bath. We felt that the gardens needed some care and attention as they could be really lovely. The cooked to order breakfasts each morning were tepid and not fresh, as though they had been cooked and left to stand for ages, not cooked...

"We had a great stay, nice big and clean rooms. Great time in the pool and a great refreshing stop on the way home from a longer trip. would happily stay a couple of nights next time to explore the area more."
