"This is an excellent example of a Malmaison, it’s such a lovely hotel. The bar and restaurant are super. Food is always spot on and the cocktails are always wonderfully made. We’ve stayed many times and always love the rooms, which are nicely appointed and a generous size. This time it was a little tired, sockets broken, curtains marked, windows broken, nothing major but just needs a bit more attention to detail. Bathroom was clean enough, but there was makeup on the tiles above the sink and marks on tiles elsewhere that just needed a bit more attention."
