Leonardo Royal Hotel Edinburgh

"We stayed 6 days and overall had a good experience. Hotel is very well situated near the Royal Mile. Room was quiet and recently rennovated. Staff were friendly. Quality of housekeeping was inconsistent--facecloths appeared on days 2 and 5, wasn't sure if we were expected to wash with hand towels? They were removed daily (we were happy to reuse them) and not replaced. Bed was made differently every day--that was interesting, sometimes water was stocked, sometimes not. One day out of six housekeeping was 10/10, the rest of the time it was 6/10. Fridge didn't work so we asked the front desk to have maintenance replace it; we were told by male front desk clerk on 9/16/26 to call back the next morning when maintenance was on site. We were on a train the next day and weren't able to call the front desk until 1pm. Here's a suggstion: YOU communicate with your departments, not me. Leave a message for maintenance to replace the fridge the next day; were wer fine to wait but not fine to have to make a second call. Overall, I would recommend this hotel."

"Easy checkin . Hotel is beautiful with tons of amenities in hotel. Had room with view of Edinburgh Castle which was beautiful ! Spacious room- breakfast was amazing with both hot and cold options. We had a car and paid minimal fee for parking. Hotel located in heart of downtown Edinburgh"
