"Our ac went out at our house we had to get a room. Chose the hampton inn bc it was close to home. The ac in the room was on and heavenly. The best continental breakfast ever and the bed was so comforting. We highly appreciate the hampton Tuscaloosa Hotel and the amazing service "

"It was out from Birmingham, AL, not far from I-20, good price, being renovated, nice size rooms, and friendly staff. The room had everything, very nice soap, shampoo and conditioner. The shower had great water pressure. We did not stay for breakfast but the dinning area seemed nice enough and we grabbed a few things heading out. Elevators, ice machines, washer/dryer, workout room, are all functional. They even offered some free complimentary drinks and snacks. It was a very good stay and we marked it for a return trip. Hopefully they will have finished more updates. It's nice, clean, just needs a little more polish. I can see why it is so highly rated. I have a pleasant and comfortable stay."

"The bed was comfy. The breakfast was yummy. And there was even a small koi pond out front. The Cons: after it rained, the pool was very cloudy. Like it needed chemicals in it. And after you got off the elevator to the 3rd floor, there was a weird smell. You couldn't smell it in the room or even downstairs. Just in the 3rd floor hallway. I would stay here again. "
