"A very pleasant one week stay in August. Very calm and peaceful (which was what we wanted), lots of space to walk around the grounds with fruit trees, vines, and the occasional deer. The house is very luminous, spacious and comfortable, and Jill and Craig offer a warm welcome, and are helpful and attentive. Plenty to see in the surrounding area (Pays Basque, Béarn, Landes)."

"What a fabulous spacious property suitable for all ages. We were a party of 14 and with nine bedrooms and eight bathrooms we were very comfortable. Great sized pool and amazing garden."

"The property fell short of its 4 star rating and our expectations. The lighting in the kitchen/main room did not work. The hot water in the shower was exhausted rather quickly. Most unpleasant was the presence of mosquitos and the lack of air-conditioning as the temperature reached 38C on the day when we arrived. "
