Relaxing downtown Cottage

Relaxing downtown Cottage

8/10 Good
"Cozy little place to stay that's affordable for a solo traveler, which I appreciated! It's close to stores and cafes, and next to a paved trail to get extra steps in without having to drive. Host was responsive when I reached out and provided clear instructions on how to find it. It's small but worked for what I needed, and I liked the clothing rack to hang clothes - very smart for that space! I liked the small private outdoor space to relax outside, but it felt awkward to have a ring camera attached to the fence where it faced directly at me instead of at the front door. A few recommendations: Please include a bath mat for future guests. I used an extra towel so I wouldn't slip on the floor. Also, lamps in the house would be great for ambient lighting for times you might be stuck when it's raining outside. The towels and washcloths need to be replaced, they were old and rough on the skin. All in all, great stay for the area and easy adjustments to make."

"The kitchen is in the front of the house and there is no way to cool it. The windows don’t open there’s no screen door for the door that enters into the kitchen so if you cook in the kitchen, you’re going to cook lol. The weeds were a bit terrible and I pulled quite a few of those because they were trip hazards across the sidewalk. The aside from that, it was a very cute property and we enjoyed staying there!"

2BR Renovated Downtown Cottage | Pet Friendly

"For the two of us the house worked out. If more than two would not recommend. We went during summer and only has one window ac unit which is close proximity of one of the bedrooms. Therefore, the back room got very warm. The bathroom was super tiny. (fyi, if you are taller than 6ft its a little tricky) and may have to duck a little to go through the door). The biggest plus, was that it was walking distance to down town Colorado Springs. We were able to walk to different bars and restaurants within 5-10 mins. Overall, it was clean, very cute and like I said before great for 2 people. We would more than likely stay here again."

10/10 Excellent
"Great location! Really close to downtown and the Sunday farmers market. There is a nice, quiet park within walking distance. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had the basic necessities. It is street parking, but you can usually get a spot right out front. There are no photos of the front of the house so it can be tricky to find at first, but once you know what to look for, it’s easy to access."
