"Things were clean, staff was pleasant. The common areas were a bit run down, and there were strange design choices and amenities in the room. The sink was tiny, like barely big enough for a glass of water tiny, but had a firehose for a faucet. Limited towels and no washcloths. Could not get the room cool enough with the thermostat. Good location, but pricey for the quality."

"All facilities clean and well maintained, though signs of age and wear and tear are starting to show. Really convenient for access to Inverness and Dingwall. Breakfast is a bit unimaginative. Standard 3* hotel stuff with no fruit salad or porage. Otherwise, reasonable price and cheerful, helpful staff."

"We stayed in 12 hotels during our Scottish road trip and this was definitely the best and also very good value for money. The room was very clean and had nice decor. Good quality towels and a large hot shower. Plenty of parking too. Handy for Ullapool's restaurants and a big Tesco just 5 mins walk away."

"Beautiful Victorian building.The rooms were not like the standard cookie cutter hotels but room was comfortable and clean.Staff was helpful and friendly. Meals at the restaurant were good portions and tasty.would recommended to anyone visiting the area."

"The hostess was lovely. She sat with me and we talked a bit, she gave us great tips of food in the area and an event nearby as well. The property was lovely sat amongst the highlands, you can’t find a more lovely location. The food was delicious, nice clean property be the grounds were stunning."
