Very Good

We spent two nights at the Isle of Skye Guest house. The check-in was done via codes but there was staff onsite. The rooms were comfortable and clean. It would have been nice to have an in-room mini fridge but we did have access to a microwave in the common rooms. I loved the common rooms.
I’m glad that I did not listen to the reviews. While it is true, there are minimal to no staff interactions, I found we didn’t need the staff. The self check in code let us in the front door and our key was in our room. Our room had all we needed for a 2 night stay. The continental breakfast was well stocked and just what you would expect (and what was advertised)
We had a clean, comfortable, spacious room that we had two good nights sleep while we spent our days exploring.
Great location and very clean. Beautiful grounds. Be sure to walk down the hill for restaurants and beautiful views of bridge and sunset (if you are fortunate).

Disliked: Staff & service
Rooms were adequate, good to have a mini fridge. However, accessibility was poor re suitcases and small stairwells. Some poor maintenance , side table loose on wall .Difficulty getting messages from the same person as the.were all online. No person met us as self check-in. Breakfast not provided. Price was high because of location.Easy walk to town for dinners.
.
We were there a little bit early and someone working there let us in, which we really appreciated. The room was tiny, nowhere to put our suitcase even, and the bathroom door did not close. The location was good and it served it's purpose for a one night stay.
The property was so nice! Location was within walking distance of restaurants. Our room was so pretty! The only down side was the bed wasn’t very comfortable. Everything else was good. The breakfast food items were simple but good. The self check-in was easy to maneuver. The one morning we met someone setting out breakfast, he was so kind and friendly.
Room was great and in prime location. Breakfast was decent, they had cereal, porridge, bread and coffee. Breakfast place was super nice with a great cozy view. Extremely happy with our stay.
We stayed in the garden suite and had a lovely stay for 2 nights. The room was spacious, the mattress was comfortable and the water pressure was great. The provided breakfast was minimal, but was a nice touch.
We found the price a bit high for what we got (although, the price was far more reasonable compared to many hotels on the Isle of Skye) and the location was a bit far and remote, so we had to do additional driving to get to sites/restaurants, etc.
My room was nice and comfortable. The grounds are lovely but be mindful of the midges! They provide breakfast but not gluten or dairy free options if you are GF/DF. The house is a short walk from the bus stop.
Barebones but spacious, clean, and on nice grounds. Everything okay except if you don’t have a car, you have a long walk to dinner. Cold breakfast. First day plentiful, second day, less so. But okay. Comfortable beds.
The garden and area were super convenient and beautiful. Our room was perfect for the one night it stay but the bed was pretty bad. High on one side, low on the other. Like some of the springs were broken. The walls are very thin but we didn’t have any issues with noise. Everything was very clean and we didn’t meet any staff to ask about breakfast but we met some nice people in the common area that helped us out. Breakfast was a great spread.
Stayed here with my husband and 2 kids (5 and under). The room was spacious and clean. Parking was convenient. Breakfast had minimal items which was in line with expectations from past reviews (milk, cereal, porridge, bread, jam, coffee). My only issue was the shower, the way it is heated doesn't provide flexibility to get the temperature correct (3 settings of cold, luke warm, burning hot). We only stayed one night so it was fine.
