"OVERALL: One of the most unique and memorable places I've ever stayed in the world. PROS: Unique design, and each room is different. Comfortable. Great service with friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast included, with made-to-order eggs. Seating area on the roof with a fantastic view. And an easy walk to the waterfront area, with restaurants and beautiful sunsets over the water. CONS: It's in the middle of a maze of narrow alleyways; we got lost looking for it and didn't feel entirely...

We appreciated the motorized window shades: they blocked out sunlight and helped keep the room quiet even when windy at night outside. We enjoyed the outdoor seating and lounging areas, and the hotel's proximity to a promenade connecting two beaches and the cable car to Mount Carmel's monastery.
