"This is the fourth time at the Prince Rupert and it doesn't disappoint. A proper traditional hotel with lovely staff and offering a glass of sherry on arrival. Very good traditional breakfast, but a variety of healthy options available too. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, with an off-site parking area that can be completely full when you get there, so you need to find an alternative yourself. Other than that, the Prince Rupert is situated in the central area of Shrewsbury with all of the picturesque areas well within walking distance, and plenty of good restaurants to visit too. We will return. "

"The hotel is quiet, clean and comfortable. My room was spotless and spacious with a king bed. Breakfast was also nice. The bus station is a 10 minute walk down the road but you need a taxi or Uber from the train station. Front desk staff were very helpful in calling and following up with the taxi. I can definitely recommend."

"We had our wedding at The Hawkstone Park Hotel last year and wanted to come back for our first wedding anniversary. The hotel was as wonderful as it was the day we got married. We will be back next year and will stay more than one night next time!"
