Fab stay at this hotel, clean, warm and lovely friendly staff. Would recommend
Central location of hotel is excellent.
The room I was initially allocated had damaged drawers but the staff willingly offered an alternative room which was fine.
The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful - thank you for a lovely stay x

Good room - excellent bathroom- very good breakfast
Hotel was in an excellent location for our 2 nights away. Staff were extremely helpful and breakfast was more than ample. Room was spotlessly clean as was the hotel - various areas in need of a coat of paint esp noticed the windows in the room with a couple of cracked panes of glass
From reception staff to breakfast staff there were excellent. The location of the hotel is perfect for seeing all the sights. Breakfast was excellent.
Apart from that the room were basic. Nothing special. Hotel has been given 4 stars. I think it should be 3 stars.
Also when booking this hotel. They should give details where the carpark is.
Clean room but bathroom needed attention. Staff are excellent and helpful. Unfortunately there was a private function on Saturday and the restaurant was closed. Room service was available which was very good.

A fabulous old building with charming interior. Very comfortable rooms and dining room. Clean room and bathroom; certainly adequate for a short stay staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast is a feas.. Be aware that the parking is not onsite as listed. Strongly advise phoning the hotel for info and directions.

Staff very friendly. Parking is a nightmare. When arrive at night, tired after a long drive the last thing you want is to negotiate narrow lanes to find a car with no postcode
