"Great place to stay for those fascinated by history. I learned from a local client after our stay how much effort had been put into redeveloping the immediate area by the owners, and now realise how much credit is due to them in keeping the area around the Ironbridge national relic so well kept. Any quibbles about finding the place and the car park are to be expected in such a place, follow the instructions to the letter and it's fine. "We stayed 2 nights in a 2nd floor room over looking the courtyard. The staff were all very welcoming & friendly. The breakfast had a good variety, nice and hot & cooked well which is not always the case for buffet style breakfasts. The location is good for the Peak District. Plenty of parking & although due to weather we were not able to enjoy it, the outside area was very pretty. The bathroom could benefit from a little work. Overall Good Location, welcome staff, excellent breakfast."
