We have stayed at the Moat House several times, and always eaten in the restaurant. We have always found the rooms to be spacious, clean and comfortable, and the food in the restaurant, both evening meals and breakfast very good.

Beautiful setting with the canal and lake surrounding the property. Staff were friendly, parking was easy and check-in was painless. Our room was functional, if a little dated but had a strong musty smell which wasn't very pleasant. We only stayed for one night, but slept well as it was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, and the food overall was decent.

It’s a quaint property in a lovely setting. The staff were very kind, helpful and caring. The room was spacious, clean, plenty of cupboard space, which is always helpful. Breakfast was very good.
