"Ckean, modern cottage with every facility you could want including comfy beds and great showers. The cottage is in a lovely tranquil settling of trees with the sound of a brook very close. Its convenient for all the popular places to visit. Bamburgh castle, Seahouses, Berwick and lots of loved local villages. "A very enjoyable stay with a comfortable room and friendly, efficient staff. The initiative of offering a free drink for each time the room was not serviced was excellent and a practice which other hotels would be well advised to copy. The hotel was a little distant from the town but this wasn't a major problem and the on-site parking was more than adequate"

"This was our second visit to Charlton Hall and this time stayed in The Tempus. It didn’t disappoint. Everything is well thought out, the rooms are comfortable and spacious. The entire hotel is beautifully decorated. We ate in the Orangery a couple of times, both of which were delicious. The staff are attentive and courteous. What’s not to love! We will return! "

"A three day visit on our trip from Scotland home. A very pleasant hotel with excellent accommodation, a restaurant offering excellent food and a pleasant bar area. The hotel was in a very good position overlooking the sea and a short walk into the centre of Seahouses. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would have no hesitation in staying there again and recommending the Beach House Hotel."
