Very nice view over the city and is one of the best places to sit and watch the lights of Addis. The room was functional and the water in the shower was hot which is a very welcome thing. The room was a little noisy as the balcony door was not sound proof so the stray dogs barked all night and there was no way to reduce the sound. The room was clean and had lots of space. There is an amazing Spa in the building which is well-recommended.

I normally don’t write reviews, but I had to let everybody know about this place. TV (5 channel with poor quality) . The hot water worked sometimes. The place is dated…. DONT BOOK this place.

The Hotel is on a Hill, and you`ll need to be fit to get up to it from the main Road, as there are no Public Buses that gets to it. You`re better off taking a local Taxi/Uber.

Wer nach Äthiopien reist, sollte unbedingt wenigstens Englisch sprechen. WLAN im Hotel nur in unmittelbarer Nähe der Rezeption möglich, außerhalb eigentlich gar nicht. Es gibt in Addis Ababa und Umgebung aber schöne Orte, allerdings nur empfehlenswert mit Guide, da man überall kontrolliert wird und oft "Passiergeld" zahlen muss

Disappointing on 3rd Stay

This was our 3rd time staying here and sadly the service has gone down. Room was very comfortable except for a sharp metal piece coming out of the floor. The second bed we requested didn't arrive until 11pm. There was a wedding occurring on our arrival that produced very loud music until way into the night. Breakfast was cold and looked like leftovers from the wedding (wilted fruits, etc.) When we started to play a card came in the lobby while waiting for the airport shuttle, we were informed that games were NOT allowed!!! The bar had no white wine the entire weekend. The overall quality and service has declined while the price on hotel.com remained consistent. We did have massages in the spa and Merrit was terrific! Sadly, will not be staying here next trip.

Worst hotel stay ever

Worst hotel experience of my life. We stayed for three nights with Friday night as our last night. The club upstairs played loud music until 4 am. It was so loud it kept myself, my husband, and our two children awake - completely impossible to sleep even with noise canceling headphones. I called the front desk and they told me there was nothing they could do but the music would stop at 2 am. Needless to say it didn’t despite multiple calls. Music finally ended at 4 am and then the cleaning crew came in and started playing loud music. The hotel should let people know on nights when there is going to be very loud music late at night so they can stay elsewhere. Otherwise, the rooms were clean. Beds were rock hard. Door was mediocre. Surrounding neighborhood was a shanty town. Staff were poorly trained and sometimes came across as dishonest (but to be fair - maybe we just had multiple miscommunications).

The rooms are old , poor service, noisy outdoor the hotel, very poor restaurant at their hotel. I left the hotel before time although i paid for the whole period, the hotel on top of a hill , you can't move without a taxi, and all taxi drivers manipulate the tourists.
