"One of the worst hotels I have stayed at. Reception and management had no record of our reservation and said they do not normally work with hotels.com. I had requested hotels.com to contact them to arrange the free airport transfer but hotels.com was not able to contact them. Booking conformation contained only a phone contact which did not work and no email contact. We were nevertheless provided with a room but the first room I was provided did not have hot water - broken when I called...

"The Hilton in Addis Ababa is one of the oldest hotels in Addis so some of the fixtures are dated but the staff were extremely kind (airport shuttle driver, clerk at check in, front of the restaurant staff (for breakfast)) - all just extremely nice. My check in process was smooth and the view was great. Finally, there was live music on the Sunday night which was really nice. "
