This hotel was everything we needed with a welcome level of good quality. The food in the restaurant was excellent, and I had numerous meetings with people here and in the coffee shop. The room was also great, except several items were not working in the room. In spite of that, we got very good value and will definitely come back here again. The staff offer excellent service.

The room was bright, clean and spacious with extra seating and a balcony. However, the outdoor traditional coffee seating area smelled so strongly of sewer that we could not sit there. The sewer smell came up through the bathroom floor and shower drains into my room at night. The bathroom was very dark and in need of an upgrade. I reported that my sink stopper would not open to allow the water to drain and it took an entire afternoon before someone came to fix it. I was given only one choice for breakfast each day.. an omelet, along with the salad offerings at the buffet. The dining room wait staff was not attentive and I had to wait long periods of time before I got my bill. Finally, the power went out when I was in the elevator and I was trapped with no way to get out.

Worst night ever.

The toilet leaked water the whole time all over the floor.feom.the bottom. They tried siliconing it rather than fixing it. They have no generator and Addis Ababa was having frequent power outages. The room was full.of.mosquitoes and at night i needed my cell to light myself to get to the bathroom. It went dead by morning as I was unable to charge it.

Nice hotel with spa facilities and amazing breakfast

The hotel has a lovely onsite spa and beauty centre. ATM'a are outside if you need cash. The breakfast buffet was very nice with Ethiopian and Western food choices and you can also order eggs which the chef will make to taste. Communication is basic and some of the réception staff have difficulty speaking English. The standard room is a bit small but the deluxe was very nice. Ordering room service didn't work as they had nothing available.. Not sure what the situation is there.. Manager was helpful and is looking at improving the communication issues. All in all a lovely stay and I will definitely return to this hotel next time.

The property is great in a safe and very central location of Addis Ababa, they have amazing amenities, spa, jacuzzi, bar, hair salon etc... and a patio with traditional Ethiopian coffee.... I love the Hotel the Staff The security and amazing manager.. young man just outstanding person. I'm from Vancouver, Canada but I'm think staying another month here... you'll never get all these things anywhere and for the price... I'm a world traveller. thx Sidra Family

COVID-19 Ethiopia Haven

Superbly SAFE. This is the hospitality ambiance that I experienced during my extended stay at Sidra International Hotel. The one glitch in my mini COVID-19 UNEXPECTED Ethiopian Vacation will have to be electricity cuts in the city, which also affected the hotel's WiFi. The property did have a generator which was put into action for EVERY OUTAGE. The super points of Sidra lies in management and staff. They catered to and exceeded my every need. The food and beverage crew and the beautiful ladies in the Spa makes Sidra a fancy choice at a moderate price. A stay at Sidra also includes free mini-gym access. After a sweaty workout, Sidra guests are entitled to DAILY FREE sauna or steam room visits and foot rubs. All other spa services are listed in a more than affordable menu. Be sure to book your next stay at Sidra International, but don't get too spoiled with the TRUE ETHIOPIAN KINDNESS AND PAMPERING 🤗😉.

Very nice, clean, large rooms. Staff very helpful, good service. The basic room was almost like a suite, with a small sitting area and a balcony with table and chairs. Only downside is location, there are not alot of places to walk to, have to take a taxi for the most part as it is on the outskirts of Bole.

The was a great hotel close to where I had meetings. The staff was fabulous. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. A great value overall. The only problem I had was that the credit card machine was not working, so I had to pay for my food in cash.

Awesome stay!!! 4th time

My stay at this hotel is always awesome, front desk manager Addis took care of a situation i had with a misplaced duty free package...long story but i got it back!!! The GM Mr. Beleta is a awesome guy as well as his Assistant Ms. Yemi!! They are a awesome team and i would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel...I have stayed here 4 times already and will be back again next month

I stayed in this hotel for two weeks. I felt like I am at home. Great customer service and very delightful hotel staff. Manager is very accommodating and friendly. Very central location to major markets, offices, and city centers. Hotel is very clean, safe and quiet. Overall it has a lot going on for this hotel. One minor improvement i would highly recommend, fix the standing showers plastic floors in room 301 and 501. Get a more steady shower floor, than the inexpensive plastic/risen material. I gave it 3/5.

Good value

From pick up.to departure the hotel staff were very good. We opted for a local hotel to get more of a flavour of the country and I am glad that we did. My sister needed her shoe repaired and it was done in 15 minutes. We felt safe at all times. The only problem was with the bathroom maintenance., as the shower pan leaked all over the floor and the fixtures were loose.

Staff is excellent (everyone). Very professional, pleasant, friendly, polite, helpful. They make you feel welcome and at home. Property was clean & comfortable.The free breakfast was great. I had no issues other than minor wi-fi connectivity problem (once connected speed is good though) . I enjoyed my time at Sidra and I'd definitely stay at Sidra again as well as recommend to anyone visiting Addis.
