Great service! Highly recommend!

The staff was extremely kind and accommodating and helpful and responsive. I really enjoyed my stay. The wifi was a little slow one day, but otherwise everything was wonderful!

Needs a complete renovation Plumbing and electrics 20 years out of date airport pick-up never showed up staff tried to be nice but really they just want dismiss all foreigners as Chinese workers (I'm British but most Ethiopians can't tell the difference ) Too many problems with this hotel to list but there are many much better options nearby

Stay here next time!

The rooms on the back side of the hotel are much quieter. The breakfast buffet is amazing. I’m vegan and they made me a great dinner that night I ate there. It’s close and convenient to downtown. The massage that I got downstairs in the health club area was absolutely the best. She added a few minutes to my massage and the cost was about $13 US. Internet was excellent also. Internet access in Ethiopia is difficult. Not all hotels offer it and if you get a card, you have to have an unlocked phone

Homey place, but overshadowed by loud disco across

I've stayed here before and found it a good value for Bole Rd. It is relatively small and homey, with friendly staff and a passable restaurant. The exercise room is also pretty good. Rooms are reasonable, but often not everything works. The real problem with this hotel is A VERY LOUD DISCO club across the street. Rooms on the front are treated to 150 Db volume music until the wee hours most nights. I moved to the back after a couple nights and the sound was not quite as bad. Unfortunately a sports bar behind the hotel blasted the American Superbowl from 2 to 5 am one night. Pretty frustrating when you are also battling jetlag and it is hard to get a full night sleep.

Nice but...

The Siyonat Hotel is a small and lovely place. The rooms were clean and functional, though the beds were a bit hard. Ideally, this would have been an excellent choice for the price range. However, the very loud nightclub across the street made it impossible to get a good night sleep.

Au 5ème étage lorsque une personne fume dans sa chambre à cause de la ventilation commune l'odeur de la cigarette se répand dans les autres chambre. J'ai donc demandé à changer de chambre au 3ème étage avec un lit qui n'était pas de même dimension que j'avais payé et la chambre n'avait pas de chauffage ni de climatiseur. Le personne très gentil et serviable mais la prestation ne mérite pas la somme payé. Très déçu du manque de confort de la chambre.

Buen hotel

El hotel está bien situado, el personal es agradable, el restaurante de calidad y hay wifi en la habitación (luego no depende de ellos el wifi en el país...). Además se puede utilizar una sala de musculación gratis; lastimosamente para el uso del sauna toca pagar 150 birr por día extra.

Can be better

My room was on the street side, a lot of noise frok pubs & restaurants at night, and cars during the day. Breakfast must be changed to a higher international level as it had been the same for the last 4-5 years. There should at least be some snacks & juices in the refrigerator. Led TV is very small. There were no bathroom amenities at all except the soap.

Well run friendly hotel which met my requirements.

I felt very comfortable in the hotel,everything that I needed was there. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside was loud music from nearby disco most nights but it always stopped by midnight.

Don't be tempted

Good location for Business and any travelers who wants to avoid Addis central. Lots of coffee and food options HOWEVER trying to get a good night sleep is close to impossibly, unless you are looking for a rock type bed. if your on business or a traveler who spends the day out, but required a good night sleep - this isn't for you. the beds are rock hard - no kidding. add no ventilation or AC in the rooms- and you get the idea. until they figure this out and fix it - avoid at all costs, if you are traveling in a group , insist not to stay there. staff extremely nice, but that will not give you any sleep time.

4 jours pour business. La mini suite est grande et celle avec vue sur l'arrière son calme. Par contre la salle de bain est vraiment limite (trou dans le plafond). Lovely friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms and the best showers we had in our whole trip around Ethiopia! Be careful of the wires that seem to cross all the corridors though! And triple check airport shuttle arrangements as we had a looooonnnnggg wait on arrival

Excellent room and bathroom. Dining acceptable

Better than many other hotels I have stayed in in Addis. My stay however coincided with a major conference and room prices had been raised to unbelievably high prices (as was case in all central hotels). The room and bathroom were of good-by-international standards. I had a quiet room at the back of the building. Dining experience (from a European perspective) was better than is average in Addis. During my stay I could obtain a wifi-signal but was UNABLE to connect to internet. This may have been due to factors outside the hotels control - but it was a major (probably temporary) inconvenience. Staff all very friendly. Good shuttle service to airport.
