VRBO. After booking and getting a confirmed booking reference and paying full amount. The being truly shafted started. Place was locked up on arrival. Communication could only be done through the Abro app - which was a pain in the arse to set up and get working.
On arrival at the appartment, no key or communication. Tried to get in contact with owner. We were given a message that the place was already booked. That left us in peak season without anywhere to stay
Ruined our holiday as we had to drive kms into the country to find somewhere at the last minute. Cost a fortune - si thanks a million ABRO.
