Large, modern apt, close to everything including free bus. Walking distance to all attractions, and pubs, restaurants, supermarket. Nice reception staff. Great value for money, paid the same for much worse accom on my trip around S.A. Would recommend.

Great location and value of money

The neighbourhood was very quiet and safe. There were lots of eatery choices nearby. There was also a bus stop just 2 minutes walk from the apartment. The apartment was very spacious and it was fully equipped. The pick-up for day tours that I had booked had just 5 min walk.

Good for families

Good for a family trip. Simple rooms, clean, close to everything. Friendly and helpful staff. The toilet has no ventilation and can smell after a couple of nights. The shower leaks and the whole bathroom gets wet.

A cosy retreat in winter in a cool suburb

Hume Service Apartments are situated in a great area of Adelaide which is very easy to access using the free bus circuit. The apartment I stayed in was very spacious and all the amenities were modern and very clean. I had a wonderful stay over two chilly days in winter feeling well looked after. The manager helped me solve a problem before I even checked in. I will be recommending this accommodation to friends.

Property was perfect but the doors slammed shut very loudly, unless closed properly. When I mentioned it on departure I was told that it was per fire regulations.

Our stay at Hume Serviced Apartments was “fine” - no more and no less. The location is walkable which is good. Street parking is tricky if you have a vehicle. The apartment had an odour which only dissipated if the A/C was run continuously or the windows were left open. The cooktop and cookware is okay for very simple food prep but it is challenging to cook properly. We had very noisy neighbors. For the price, we were satisfied as we wanted to stay in the CBD, but I don’t think we would stay again.

Location is perfect and the apartment was clean. The communication was great. We were grateful to be able to check in earlier as it was a 40C day. However we never got an onsite parking spot which was quite limited. We had to park on the street or nearby parking area. We had to ask for a remote control for the air-conditioning from the reception as it was missing from the apartment. The washing machine was broken and only when we reported it we were allowed to use the one in unoccupied apartment. With those conditions, it's not a very pleasant experience of staying at an serviced apartment especially when we were with a child. I would recommend the property owner to do a regular check and maintenance.

Tired and needs attention

Nice area of the city and easy to get round . Good communication from staff before we arrived . Apartment is nice but need updating all fiixtures and decor tired needs painting and good clean in bathroom area . When we came out of lift there was a rug on floor that stinks this needs a good clean or replacing . Could be really nice but it need attention . Staff was ok but not realky interested in you .

I requested an hour late check-out, which the receptionist kindly granted, and he also provided us with an upper-level room upon request. The person at the desk is a legend. Thank you for your service. I loved the hotel. Very clean and tidy near the CBD.
