The best thing about this retreat is the easy access to the water!

Fishing, boating or kayaking are our favorite activities on Bankhead Lake.

There are bars and restaurants minutes from your door. You can drive or boat to each one.

There are 4 kayaks, 1 SUP and 1 pedal boat available for guest use.

Wonderful, quiet little place!
This place was a wonderful quiet little retreat. My husband and I enjoyed relaxing and fishing. It was very clean and the host was excellent to communicate with. If I had any complaints at all it would be to add some curtains in the bedroom as it was very bright in there. Other than that it was perfect!

Great little spot
Out in the country, but great little getaway spot. Would recommend bringing your own food to cook not a lot in driving distance unless you want to drive to just outside Bham.

Great Lakeside Experience
We had a wonderful time at this cozy lakeside cabin. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake and afterwards sitting on the deck overlooking a beautiful view of the water, listening to all the surrounding birds and just enjoying the quiet lake experience. The cabin was well supplied for all of our cooking needs and was also nicely furnished including a washer and dryer. We enjoyed watching several movies after enjoying our meal. Morning coffee on the deck was also very pleasant. We would highly recommend and hope to return to the lake house in the near future.
