Family theme park owned by television company Studio 100. The park's rides and attractions are based on the company's various childrens TV shows. Prior to 2000, the park was known as Meli-Park and had a bee/honey theme. In 2017, Plopsaland added a new family wooden roller coaster themed to the TV show Heidi that was built by Great Coasters International. The area resembles a traditional Swiss village. Other lands are themed to Wickie (Vicky) the Viking, Kabouter Plop (Plop the gnome), and House of Anubis. The Anubis roller coaster, built by Gerstlauer, features an unexpectedly strong rolling launch.

"Fijn huis met een omheinde tuin, wat prettig is met een hond.Begin en einde van de vakantie ongemakkelijk vanwege het in het huisje liggen van de afstandsbediening van de slagboom. Bedden boven heerlijk, bedden beneden slechte matras. Inrichting OK. Omgeving geweldig met bos ,duin en strand dichtbij en leuke plaatsen om te bezoeken "

"In het begin via site even moeilijke informatie doordat het niet in Nederlands was. Maar daarna alles goed verlopen. Vriendelijke ontvangst, alles proper en goed onderhouden. Top! Voor herhaling!!"

"De airconditioning die ze aanbieden op de site is er niet. Bedlinnen is in de prijs voorzien maar vraag je ze niet dan heb je ze niet. Je auto moet buiten het domein staan, dus niet beschermd of beveiligd, ondanks dat er plaatsen niet in gebruik waren in het domein. Keuken is goed voorzien. Huisje is deftig. Breng zelf wc papier mee tenzij je graag karton papier gebruikt. Dvd speler is een PS2 ken je het apparaat niet heb je pech."

"Have to say this beat my expectations. Room was great, good location for where we wanted to be. Great value. Beds were very comfortable. Kettle within the room which i wasnt expecting, so that was a great bonus. Bathroom was big. Would definitely stay again. "

"Holiday Suites was great! In a brilliant location with a lot for the kids to do. Access was really easy, lovely restaurants just down the road and a awesome beach just a couple of minutes drive. Stayed with 2 of our kids and the apartment offers all you need for a great stay! definitely recommend."
