Hotel was clean, rooms spotless, staff were helpful and friendly, answering any travel and hotel questions we had. The included breakfast was delicious and generous with a wide selection. Couldn’t believe it’s only a 3 star hotel, felt like a 4 and a half. Would book again. Thanku for making our stay enjoyable.

Mixed feelings

Based on the images we expected higher quality so it was a disappointing experience. The room we booked was 'superior', however, it was old and not amazingly maintained - the wallpaper was slowly letting loose and cracking open; insulation was bad as we could feel a cold draft close to the windows. There was no door on the bathroom, which was just a bit strange for us. One of the receptionists was not very friendly - we felt that we were seen as stupid for even asking things. On the positive side: breakfast was varied and hotel staff at the restaurant was friendly and attentive. The beds were comfortable.

Not bad, but not good either

We stayed at the hotel for a weekend in the beginning of July and we had an okay stay. There were some good things and some not so good things: Pros: - Location (close to beach, promenade, restaurants, tram stop, parking (need to be reserved in advance)). - Big room, full body mirror, toilet separate from bathroom, comfortable bed, small fridge, seating area. - Breakfast was good. Cons: - Expensive parking and unclear instructions from hotel. - Room was very worn down (paint falling off walls, worn down bathroom and toilet, very dusty areas) - Very low water pressure in the shower. - No air condition, so the room was very warm all day and night and only a small part of the window could be opened. - Not very sound proof - we could hear everything from the hallway and the street and got woken up many times during the night from guests coming home. - Not possible to lock the door from the inside, which was uncomfortable. - No “do not disturb sign”, so cleaning staff can come in at any minute. - No door to the bathroom which was located right by the main door. - Very small and overcrowded pool.

De kamer was goed, de welness fantastisch. Ik had alleen niet gelezen dat je 25 euro extra moest betalen om te parkeren en dat je 16 euro pp betaal voor 3 uur welness en 13 euro pp voor een badjas pakket Het ciel dus duurder uit, maar we hebben zeker genoten van Hotel Astrid en het mooie Oostende

Vraiment très bon emplacement, à 3 minutes de la plage et de la mer. Hôtel propre et petit- déjeuner très agréable et très varié. Mention spéciale pour les crêpes! Je n'ai pas pu profiter du spa car j'étais avec mes enfants et l'accès leur est interdit, cependant il y a une partie accessible, où il y a piscine et jacuzzi qui nous a ravis tout autant. J'aurais aimé avoir une bouilloire dans la chambre. Et petit bémol pour le check out à 10h, on aurait préféré un peu plus tard, sinon c'était un séjour parfait
