We had a lovely stay at the Royal Mirage Hotel in Agadir and, overall, found it a great base for exploring the area. The food was good for a hotel buffet, with plenty to enjoy, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The hotel is a little dated in places, and maintenance work was ongoing on the large pool during our visit. We were also disappointed to find that the gym and private beach beds advertised as available at other hotels were not available here. Check-in was easy, our room was spacious, and the beds were really comfortable. The room also had a fridge, although there were no tea or coffee-making facilities. Luckily, we took our own travel kettle, so this wasn’t a problem for us. The hotel is a little dated in places, and maintenance work was ongoing on the large pool during our visit. The location is good for the beach, but be aware that there are quite a lot of steps to get down to it, so it may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues or who struggles with stairs. Our biggest downside was the nightclub next door. The music was extremely loud until around 3am on Thursday and Friday nights, which made sleeping difficult. Overall a great stay

The room was very nice, clean, and excellent location. Breakfast was also great. The only negative was incompetent staff and the checkin which seemed to be an ongoing chatoic affair that takes EXTREMELY long for everyone who checks in

Good Stay!

Very pleasant stay, was allocated sea vie room as requested...check was very smooth as hotel wasn't busy. Hotel is looking very dated but has all the facilities n is highly functional. Great choice breakfast n service was extremely good throughout! Def coming here again!

The staff were very helpful. Muhammad (night shift) helped us a lot during our stay. Would recommend. It’s in a good location. Naya club is next door so it can be a bit noisy at night.

I was aware of some negative reviews before and after booking but kept my reservation - i am glad I did. The hotel is really good; the staff are friendly, helpful and always have a smile. The facilities are good. The location is excellent for the main beach and shops, cafes, etc. There are some great views of the sea and cliff to be had also from the hotel. Value for money.

This hotel is a 2* at best. And, this is reflected in the price. Staff try their best under the circumstances. Breakfast is the same everyday and the hot food was served cold. Lots of bread, cakes and pastries on offer. There is an omelette station for hot eggs of choice. Ended up just having the coffee and tea. There was so much noise in the early hours from the night club next door! Revellers made so much noise with motorcycles revving at that time making it impossible to get a full night’s sleep. I slept for 10 solid hours the first night out of that hotel - that goes to show how sleep deprived I was! There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms - not in the room that I in. Reception staff promised to move me to a room with better reception but this did not happen for the week I was there. There are renovation works going on at the hotel on some of the floors. This was not intrusive though the works carried on until 9pm on some days. The rooms are a good size. But the shower was a weapon in its own right!!! The water pressure was too much and some of the nozzles were blocked. Just needed descaling but the technician thought it was ok… This could have been because of the language barrier. Majority of the staff do not speak English. The hotel’s location is very ideal. Close to the beach and the bus terminus is across the road. The staff are amazing: Mr Saad, the manager, Mr Ibrahim, Mr Ali, Mr Hassan, Mrs Aziza who cleaned my room, all made the stay worthwhile.

The bedrooms and bathrooms clearly need renovation. The bedding and towels were very old, and although they were white, they appeared yellowish in colour. We requested fresh towels, but the replacements were in the same condition. There was also no kettle in the room to make tea or coffee, which was inconvenient.

The rooms are very basic and lack advertised amenities. The bed was extremely hard. The entire front of the property was a building site, which was not confirmed on booking. This included the steps down to the beach which were dangerous. The WiFi was very poor. The location has a busy road front and back and the balcony doors only shut with a chain, so it was very noisy. I checked out after one night of a five night bookings
