Newly renovated apartment in an exclusive residential area of the small fishing village of Agaete in the sunny northwest of Gran Canaria. 40sqm garden with garden table and loungers and incomparable view of the sea (just a stone's throw away), with the Teide of Tenerife in the background and the mountain range of the Tamadaba Nature Park. 80sqm apartment with two bedrooms, large living room, kitchen with dining table, bathroom. Own parking lot in front of the door. Satellite TV and internet is available. Nice footpath right in front of the door to the salt pans (swimming pools built into the sea) and on to the restaurant in Puerto de las Nieves

Could be perfect.
The position of the apartment is perfect, overlooking the port and sea with cliffs and mountains behind, and with a perfect view of the sunset each evening. It takes ten to fifteen minutes to walk down to the port with it's restaurants, beach and fishmonger and perhaps a little longer to reach the centre of Agaete, a lovely, relatively sleepy, Canarian town. Both walks home are quite steep so you do need to be mobile. We needed to talk to Lex, one of the managers a couple of times and found him to be very friendly and efficient. Beware though that our taxi driver couldn't find the address, so the Google maps reference they send you is important (and if you get lost it's just around the corner from the Roca Negra hotel). The only reason this is not 5 stars is that it needs some attention. Windows need to be fixed, a door handle falls off, the wooden fence at the end of the terrace is loose (and it's a big fall the other side - this apartment isn't suitable for small children). With a little love this place could be perfect.

Erholsamer Aufenthalt
Außergewöhnich gute Lage: Meerblick (Sonnenuntergänge!) und Blick in die Gebirge; große Terrasse( z. T. überdacht) mit bequemen Gartenmöbeln; gute Zimmeraufteilung; guter Zugang zum Meer und zum Zentrum von Puerto de las nieves; geräumig ( u.a.Kleiderschränke); wir haben uns 12 Tage sehr wohl gefühlt

The house is with good logation and nice view. Some repairs must to do with doors and sunroof. Smell in the corridor was bad. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay in Casa Julia. Regards Harri

Frühling 2023 in Agaete
Wir genossen die schöne geräumige Wohnung Casa Julia mit der grossen Terrasse mit Sicht auf Puerto de las Nieves und dem leisen Meeresrauschen. Die Sicht über das Meer auf den benachbarten Teide ist bei Sonnenuntergang bringt einem so richtig in Ferienstimmung. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und bestens eingerichtet. Sie liegt sehr günstig, die Fischrestaurants und die Schwimmmöglichkeiten liegen alle in Gehdistanz, die grossen Einkaufsläden sind mit dem Auto bequem erreichbar und der Flughafen ist mit weniger als einer Stunde Fahrzeit schnell erreichbar. Und in etwa einer Stunde ist man mit dem Auto bereits im Wanderparadies im Innern der Insel. Es war ein rundum gelungener Urlaub.

Traumhaftes Appartement
Wir verlassen die Insel, Agaete und das außerordentlich schöne Apartment heute mit Wehmut. Selten hatten wir ein Feriendomizil, dass uns den Urlaub so wunderschön ins Haus geholt hat. Großzügig, gut und liebevoll ausgestattet - und dann dieser Knallerblick auf das Meer, das kontinuierliche Meeresrauschen... wir waren ganz hin und weg. Wir mussten auch mal nachts auf der Terrasse schlafen, so schön war die Meeresatmosphäre. Agaete selber ist ein wunderschöner Ort, die Beachbar an den Salinas, die Fischrestaurants am Hafen, Wanderungen in das umliegende Bergmassiv, wenig Touristen, ganz im Gegenteil zu den Hotelburgen im Süden, also, es war einfach nur toll. Und das lag ganz besonders an der „Insel“, wie wir unser Appartement nannten. Klare Empfehlung 👍
