"Excellent communication with the property owners, including free transfers to and from the port. Brilliant location less than 5 minutes walk from Agios Prokopios beach and close to supermarket and bus stop. Fridge and kitchenette were particularly useful and we cooked simple meals. The pool was brilliant and we had a wonderful relaxing stay."

She started off our stay there with a toast of the local liqueur Kitron and then helped us find good restaurants and the highlights on the island. "During my 2 week trip in Greece, my stay at Golden Silence was one of the highlights of my vacation. A Greek family with young children owns the place and also lives onsite. They do not speak much English and don't have internet – I highly suggest you print out on paper your confirmation if you book online and that you mention that you have booked with the office (a lovely young woman who speaks english takes care of the online reservations but does not run the place, nor does she work onsite....
