Good for price

The hotel was a fair price, safe, generally quiet inside. Due to the extensive amount of carpeting, allergies were triggered. Beds were comfortable. Parking was nice.

The staff was fantastic. The mattresses were amazing, and there is a very large (and clean) pool. I wish the breakfast was a bit more full when we got there at 7:45, but otherwise would definitely return!!

We recently stayed at The Inn at Houndslake during our trip to Aiken for Nationals, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. While Expedia was incorrect about the property having an on-site bar and restaurant—this is actually part of a country club—we were still very happy with our stay. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Every person we interacted with was friendly and helpful. They even provided a few items we had forgotten at home, which made a big difference. Our room was spotless, and the beds were extremely comfortable. In the evenings, our kids especially loved the fresh-baked cookies and hot chocolate—it was such a thoughtful touch! The pool was also a huge hit with the whole family. We’ll definitely be returning to The Inn at Houndslake for future Nationals events. Highly recommend!

We loved the quiet and peaceful setting. Rooms were clean and well kept. Staff was very professional and friendly. View from our room onto the golf course was relaxing. Only drawback was the continental breakfast. For the money, a few more selections would be nice. What was served was very good though.
