"We have stayed at this property twice, lovely, clean,modern and a great host. The house is attached to the owners home which is surrounded by a lovely large garden. There is a double bed upstairs which is a mezzanine. Downstairs has everything you need plus a double sofa bed. We were there for 3 wks and loved being there. Close to Talmont and short drive to beach. "

"Le gîte est une grande maison campagnarde au calme avec un très grand jardin. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable à 2 familles (11 personnes) sans avoir l’impression d’être « les uns sur les autres », ce qui était précieux. Ce gîte de campagne a aussi les défauts de ses qualités (mobilier un peu ancien, débit de l’eau limité quand les 3 douches fonctionnent en même temps), mais il a un indéniable cachet que nous avons beaucoup apprécié."

"This property was very clean in an ideal area for exploring the Vendée. The house was very clean and the host were really nice and friendly and very helpful. The pool was amazing and the kids really enjoyed it. It was really good with being an indoor pool The local town is quiet and a really nice place to walk around. Thank you for a good stay"

"The property was very acceptable to us both, it was clean well fitted out and we had everything we needed. We had expected an older style property that would be within the wood land and standing on its own. The property is infact on a housing development of new properties, this realisation fazed us somewhat, as was the fact that the developers were still undertaking major road works. "Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme et l'environnement extérieur de cette belle ferme rénovée, également la proximité des plages et des sables d'Olonne. La maison est bien équipée au niveau de la cuisine et nous avons apprécié le lave linge et sèche linge (non précisé dans l'annonce). Attention à bien aérer, les maisons de bord de mer sont toujours un peu humide."

"Compact and comfortable. Well fitted out and storage for our bikes. Michel and Paulette are great hosts, made us very welcome and provided help with local maps and attractions. This GÎTE in their garden is very quiet and peaceful, only 5 min walk to the coast and about 20 mins into town. For us, the attraction was the convenience of the Vendee cycle ways which are minutes away and are great ways to explore north and south of St Gilles on flat firm surfaces.
