"The place is pretty rough and not worth the price. My door wouldn't stay closed. The shower curtain rod looked like it was broken and relocated multiple times with some spackling over the old holes but no paint or primer. Bathtub faucet was dripping and there were hard water stains in the tub and it looked dirty. Lot's of caulk around the bathroom tiles and walls. Cracks in the ceiling that had been roughly spackled over. Just generally run down and in disrepair."

"This is a perfect location for people visiting without a car. Everything is within walking distance as far as dining and entertainment. I asked for a place to eat and what the staff recommended was on spot. It’s also close enough to the Sioux City airport that you really don’t need to be there 2hrs prior to boarding. The staff were very friendly and professional."

"Awful Breakfast - EVERYTHING was cold - the eggs, the sausage gravy, the potatoes. There was no butter for the bread/toast, nor the pancakes. The pineapple juice was actually water. One of the cereals appeared to be waterlogged, I was afraid to look closely at the others. "

"In defense of the property, they did say they were in process of updating, and some problems we had were beyond their control. But overall stay was not pleasant. First we had to move out of room due to a sprinkler above breaking, which resulted in a waterfall feature appearing in our bathroom. The room they moved us to had broken tiles in the bathroom that shifted when you walked on them. Then we lost sleep due to nearby train tracks and train whistles repeatedly blowing at 4:30 am and after. By the time we finally were able to fall asleep again, we overslept and missed breakfast. The staff was very accommodating and found us some donuts and muffins despite having put things away. So overall, very accommodating staff, and convenient location, but little else to recommend the property."
