"We stayed at this hotel 3 days and again 2 days. Hotel was very clean and reasonably priced. However, hotel is ten years old and requires upgrades or some would say TLC. I have a relative in the hotel industry, and he stated major hotels perform upgrades once it reaches seven years old. Furniture has chips, shower curtain hanging, cracks in sinks etc. Staff were friendly but often not behind the service counter. Full breakfast was decent although my breakfast was cold on two occasions. Fortunately, there was a microwave nearby. A biggie for me as I'm retired military was the American flag was very tattered. Would I stay there again? Probably, my main concern is cleanliness and comfortable beds which were above average for this type of hotel. If the hotel declines much more such as a Day's Inn I experienced, then I won't return."

"Everything was perfect and I can’t say enough good things about the staff and how much they made our trip to St. Louis an excellent experience. I ABSOLUTELY recommend staying here, matter of fact we will stay here every time we come to or through St. Louis."

"Was in room 312 the building seems older attention to detail for cleaning was not there the bedroom walls had hand prints on them with like grease stains of some sort, the bathroom had some type of mold in the shower on the ceiling plus some extra black pubes on it…hair on the floor that wasn’t mine, toilet and sink was clean,You could see random hairs between the white sheets. Doesn’t matter if the building is older you can keep it clean at least. The pool was freezing cold no temperature regulation in it. The elevator floors were really dirty. The beds were comfy. I would not pay $200 to stay here for one night again though. The entire building smelled musty. "

"Toilet ran if you didn’t giggle the handle. Two of us shared the room it had two beds but we only got one washclothe one towel had a hole in it and the shower temp fluctuated hot and cold. Overall not great."

"Building with long history. Has a few leaks and needs a bit of updating, carpet and outside doors, but comfortable and in a convenient location. Would have preferred a room not on the side of the noisy interstate hwy. "
