The main hotel and it's facilities are first class - with excellent restaurants and pool facilities. Nice artificial beach - 'swim up' bar, etc. Easy access to adjoining mall. Central location. The main bugbear was that having booked a 'Classic Studio' - it was not apparent to me (unless hidden somewhere in the small print) - that we would not be accommodated in the main hotel - but in a nearby annex more akin to a residential apartment building. Excellent service during check-in and throughout the stay. Comfortable bed, large room, very nice shower. It was great value for money and we will come back again.

The hotel is grand with a beautiful lobby and garden, helpful friendly staff, spacious modern rooms with advanced controls, clean large bathrooms, ample free parking, located near the grand mosque, outside the city but closer to Ayad island.

The Intercontinental Hotel in Abu Dhabi is a beautiful place to stay. Upon check-in there were many mistakes made and they had a hard time finding a reservation, and told us several times that we didn't have one even though it was prepaid and had evidence of it in my pocket. After a while they were able to find it with no apologies. It really makes a customer uncomfortable when they questioned their integrity. Best Hotel in Abu Dhabi We initially booked 2 nights at this hotel. As it was new and I am not a fan of the Hyatt brand I was a bit skeptical. However, by Day 1 we had fallen in love with the hotel and cancelled all other hotel bookings we had for the duration of our stay and extended our stay at the Grand Hyatt. From a trip to trip during last three years,this hotel stay the best choice between all other hotels in the UAE ,which I had tried.

The building as an architecture piece stands out. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and kind and they knew us by name upon our arrival. The location of the hotel is a bit off but we knew that prior to our arrival and we chose it on purpose. It is very close to Sheikh Zayed mosque. And taxi drivers know the hotel by Hyatt name and not Andaz. Apparently hey have been recently rebranded as an Anda by Hyatt branding.

I enjoyed the fact that their was a shower and separate bathtub, the hotel is connected to the mall which is on the 3rd floor of the hotel, the bus that takes you from Dubai to Abu Dhabi is right across the street from the hotel and when you walk out of your room to the elevator it's like your walking on air because of the all windows and panoramic view. I was only their for two days and I really enjoyed myself very much and if i'm able i will go back again.
