"This is great place to stay in the Northern Black Hills, and great place to spend the evening Downtown Spearfish. Our evening started with a stroll through the alley to a Wine shop that had a great back yard. We enjoyed a glass and then made our way to Nona's kitchen, which is one of the best Italian places in South Dakota.. After dinner we made our way to the Tucked Tie, for their specialty drinks. . We were able to walk back up to the Queen City Inn, after a great night in Spearfish. The only thing that would make this a perfect place would be that they would put king size beds in."

"clean, quaint room- we stayed in the cabin with 2 bedrooms- very nice and comfortable. The Hulett Hotel location is very convenient for Devils Tower!!This was a big plus for us!!"

"Thought this was a Mom&Pop operation from the reviews. IT IS NOT at least from my experience. There is NO ONE on site. I don't mean staff is out for a dinner break. THERE IS NO ONE THERE. I received no email, no text about how to get in. You check in by dealing with a phone number answered heavens knows where. The person I dealt with on the phone - once I got through the corporate menu - was helpful but you felt sort of abandoned if there were any issues with guests or anything. I didn't like it at all because I thought I was getting something else. There were dust bunnies all over the bathroom and mold on the tile. Worse the tub had some scuffs in the past and they PAINTED OVER the ceramic tub. Pieces of the paint come off when showering - yuck! Hey, I don't need a towel folded to look like a duck. I would however like staff on site and clean bathrooms. BTW the place was quiet until the next morning when we heard a fight in the next room, word for word. Just glad they waited until we were out. ALSO don't miss Uncle Louie's across the street if you stay in SUNDANCE. I would not stay at Arrowhead however - never again"

"Not bad, typical hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had to contact the desk right after check-in to have the sheets changed. Found hair and what appeared to be melted cheese on the sheets. They came right away and changed them and said they had recently hired some young people who were not very observant and apologized for the inconvenience. "
