"The State Park has amenities for all ages. The trails were nice; the restaurant was excellent and convenient; several marinas were close; the lake was really gorgeous. This was our second visit to the resort, and we are already booked for October 2025."

"The property was gorgeous inside and out! The view of the lake from three decks was spectacular. There were plenty of beds! We had the four private bedrooms occupied and on the bottom floor was a room with 4 sets of bunks and a full size bed. One bedroom was on the main floor which was wonderful for one of our guests whom has a hard time with stairs. There was one half bath off the kitchen area and three full baths, so no one fought over when to take showers.The kitchen was equipped with everything you may need in a kitchen. We loved the griddle for making breakfast. The grill out on the main deck also served us quite well!There was plenty of seating for eating in and outside. We were out on the lake most of the day, but there were also two large sitting areas, one on the main floor and one on the lower floor. The washer and dryer were also on the lower floor.It was so dark over the lake at night, that we could see many constellations and the stars were so bright! The Jamestown Marina was a few minutes away and we had one of our family members who live close to the State Dock, boat over to pick us up at the marina to head out on the lake within minutes. Next time we plan on bringing more family/friends."

"Husband and I were looking to get away for a weekend to disconnect and this place was perfect for us and and our doggo! The one fault I would say is there wasn’t a really grassy spot outside for a potty break for the dog but once he was used to it, he was fine! The place was clean, quiet, and everything was wonderful! Thank you! "
