"It was a decent stay for a couple of nights. Very small town with only a couple of restaurant options. The restaurant on site was very busy and service took quite a while. The carpet and bedding weren’t the cleanest (there was a hair in the sheets that wasn’t ours). The staff was great. View was beautiful. Hot tub was just warm the first night, but clean. Second night it was closer to regular hot tub temp. Pool was nice."

"Mike was a great host and communicated important information before we arrived! The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed- including plenty of towels and linens for all of us. The back deck and bonfire area were very nice and we enjoyed smores by the fire :) I would recommend a stay here to anyone looking to get off the beaten path and experience the U.P. Thanks again for a great experience!"

"Perfectly peaceful!House is clean. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. Plenty of space to relax indoors and outdoors. We loved the outdoor eating areas, the dock and the sauna. We look forward to staying again."

"This space was great for our family. It was a wonderful location for us to travel from each day for adventures in the surrounding areas. It always felt peaceful and grounding to return here. We utilized the gazebo for game time, the fire pit for smores, the dock for morning yoga, the grill for hamburgers, the griddle for morning blueberry pancakes, and the deck for morning coffee, too. All the things! It was great!"

"We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this charming house. It was quiet, peaceful, and clean. We arrived during a heat wave, but with the provided fans, the house stayed pleasantly cool, and there was always a nice breeze off the lake. The kids really enjoyed the kayaks. One kid caught a bass that was big enough to keep right off the dock. We recommend the Huron Mountain bakery in Ishpeming and the mine tour in Houghton."
