"The house was perfect and beautifully appointed with wonderful art work. We were close to all the places that we wanted to experience: biking along the Big River, hiking , fishing for rockfish, sea kayaking, and visiting town for a little shopping and dining. The hot tub was a welcome tonic for sore muscles, and the view was fantastic. Our 9 year old granddaughter is a competitive swimmer, so we were fortunate to be able to watch the Olympic trials on TV. Plus grandpa taught her how to play...

"Everything was excellent and even better than described! Owner was attentive and accomodating; home was lovely with art and books and blankets and coffee grinder even!! Hot tub was hot!! Added touches in kitchen and bathroom were appreciated. Thank you!"

"We came last minute to Ft Bragg and luckily this place was still available. We came up for a fishing trip and not knowing how parking would work out, but we were able to fit our boats/trailers in here no problem. The hot tub was hot, everything was clean. It was great for 8 fishing dudes. 5 stars and if it were available again, we would for sure do it again."

"We stayed at shalimere to see the Northern California coast. This house was a good value with great views of the ocean and point arena lighthouse, and is located just off the main highway but enough away that we did not hear traffic. The house is comfortable and clean, as pictured. We would stay again. We like to take road trips with our dog, so much appreciate hosts who are willing to allow dogs. Not good cell service here, but the Internet WiFi worked for us. Any questions we had were answered...

"We had so much fun! The fantastic game room (shuffle board, pool table, and big round card table for cards is located downstairs so if you have littles they are not disturbed by the laughter as they can be upstairs and our monitor had no problem receiving the transmission. Big kitchen/great room for hanging out. Our family brought their gaming gear and had multigenerational competitions in the den/tv room. Fun, fun, fun!"
