This is a great Hotel. Our room had a view of the ocean. It was very spacious and clean. Our room had a microwave and cutlery. This hotel is excellent place to stay with family. Also there is a staircase to the beach.

Wonderful resort! Great amenities and staff. Wish the pools were warmer but great dining options. A little noisy in evenings but lots of activities. Definitely recommend staying here!!

Many of the feature's and activities that initially attracted me to this establishment for my familys vacation that were supposed to be open were closed. While the hotel was great the kids activities for my children were not available and most parks were closed for no reason.

The alfgar aparthotel is a fabulous hotel it’s has a lovely kids pool and indoor pool kids club wasnt an option for us as it was off peak time we will definitely come back

Very beautiful area, the best in Albufeira, nicely maintained gardens and swimming pools. A lot of kids making any attempt to swim impossible. Would be nice to have one lane in the heated pool for adults.

Not a great hotel

Alfagar hotel was okay… nothing special tbh. Sorry but we wouldn’t go back. The beach was quite far, the walk back uphill probably too much for older folks. Annoyingly the TV was intentionally blocked from accessing Netflix or Prime, and the USB was also disabled so we couldn’t even connect the laptop to the TV. We didn’t use the sofa, it had a terrible smell (maybe previous occupant was incontinent). The buffet breakfast was okay but repetitive. Virtually the same every day. On the plus side, the apartment kitchen was good and the onsite restaurants were excellent. Also, lots of good nearby restaurants if you have a car or happy to use Uber / taxis.

The unit was okay except for the ants all over the apartment and the fact that I told the reception three times and the housekeepers once that the unit had ants. I even showed the housekeeper all the ants I killed myself and swept up. They did nothing about it. They did come fix the broken balcony doors quickly. The bed was not comfortable. When I arrived, the couch was filthy, but I pointed out the large stains to the housekeeper to explain why I had covered the couch with the extra blanket before I sat on it, and when I came back the stains were gone. But the absolute worst thing about this place was the wifi. IT SUCKED! I could not believe how slow it was and then it kept disconnecting every few minutes. I couldn't even upload files for work. When I called, they admitted it is very slow and disconnects and "that's how it is." As IF that makes it acceptable. It's bottom of the barrel awful. If you're a digital nomad or if wifi is important to you, avoid this place at all costs. It will frustrate you to no end.

Very nice clean modern apartment, the staffs are all very helpful and friendly, amazing service, welcome drinks, my kids got given a colouring book, the hotel has a kids club , washer dryer in the apartment was a plus point , Loccitane 's toiletries. Heated jacuzzi and outdoor pool which kids have access to from 8-10am is a bonus but would be nicer if could extend until 11am :). Would definitely come back again, we have stayed at quite a number of 5 stars hotels, but this one by far has the best customer service.

Sehr schöne Anlage mit vielen Pools, schöner Strand über Treppen direkt von Hotelanlage erreichbar. Gute Restaurants. Appartements erwas ins Alter gekommen, Badezimmer sanierungsbedürftig. So st gut und zweckmässig eingerichtet, Küche gut eingerichtet zum Kochen; Toaster, Mikrowelle und grosser Kühlschrank vorhanden. Sehr nettes, freundliches Personal!
