"The house is situated in a vineyard with fig trees growing around the house. It is a 25 minute walk up the mountain road to the medieval village of Erice. Trapani is the main town and is about 15 minutes by car down the mountain. The mountain road (SP3) is steep with hairpin bends, so it is best to hire a small car like most of the locals. "My wife and I stayed in this property for a week in May 2019. The location was rural, quiet and had spectacular views over the surrounding mountains. The property is surrounded by vineyards on three sides and an orchard and vegetable garden on the other, which we were allowed to help ourselves; never forget the fresh orange juice made from picking our own oranges. The property itself exceeded expectations set by the photos and Angelo (the host) was extremely responsive with any questions that we had leading up to our stay and Mauro was very helpfull with the questions we had during our stay and at check in/check out. Perfect for families that just want to relax and keep kids entertained so many facilities and the guy was nice enough to say when we check out we are free to stay around at the pool and just hang out as we want for as long as we want.
