"Good rooms/beds. Short 10min walk to the beach"

"Heating on the top floor wasn't working leaving the bedrooms unusable. We phoned the owner who got the maintenance guy to come out on Christmas Eve but he couldn't fix the problem. I have complained to the owner and asked for recompense but to date he hasn't replied. "

"The staff were friendly and helpful. The place was very clean. Breakfast was very good. I was disappointed as it was expensive and the little extras were missing, such as shower/bath gel on the wall were too high for use in the bath."

"Great location and excellent staff"

"A good location with good views over Barry. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The property was "tired" and with a good budget, has the potential to be a lovely venue. A good value for money, basic accommodation, if your expectations are not too high."

"Lovely comfortable room and excellent staff. We really liked the food- dinner and breakfast were spot on."

"Great hotel and brilliant staff."

"Lovely hosts, really excellent breakfasts, good facilities, clean and comfortable room. A real 10/10 sort of place."

"We really enjoyed our stay. We were walking the SWCP and were glad to stop earlier on this leg. (Just dont take the road to the lighthouse and then climb the scree over the hill: steep and dangerous). The room was excellent. Comfortable. Delicious dinner down stairs, and lucky for us on our night, a live singer providing a musical background atmosphere. She was lovely, and just the thing to elevate the evening to next level."
