"If you need to stay near Vernon or Coldstream, stay here, no question. Yvonne is an amazing host and will cook you an amazing breakfast. She is very welcoming and helpful. Great wooden lodge, location, shower bed and internet and very quiet. If you need anything to eat in the evening use a food delivery app, Yvonne will help you sort it out, otherwise you can drive into Vernon, too far to walk. We would recommend Maaza Indian Kitchen in Vernon, huge portions of excellent curry."

"My friend and I rented this spot hoping for a quiet time to read and relax for a week. Unfortunately we did not realize that this suite is a walk out basement suite where you have to go down long stairs that my friend found a little trying over the week.Things I truly enjoyed about our stay, the suite in question has a wonderful layout with comfortable beds and is stocked with everything you need in the kitchen including extra spices.The hot tub on site is well maintained and the area outside is nicely put together with a swing the kids would love. We enjoyed sitting outside in the morning to start our day.I would rent this place again with my children for a skiing holiday in a heartbeat. It is the perfect suite for a small family looking to be up early and go out on the slopes or hiking trails all day.My only issues with the suite were, it is located beside a very loud roundabout which made it difficult to have the windows open to cool the unit down in the evening and they control the AC, we had to ask repeatedly to get some cool air in the unit, halfway through our stay we realized the vents were all closed minus the one by the front door.It is a basement suite, so the upstairs occupants woke us up daily with scrapping chairs, as someone who lives on a farm, it was hard to relax/sleep through that when our holiday was a sleeping/lazy holiday. Summary- great for an active family looking to be out all day, not for a relaxing quiet girls trip."

"Woinshet and Keith are lovely hosts. They are polite, funny, and enthusiastic hosts. They enjoy chatting with kids and teaching them about their property. The property is beautiful with flowers and gardens. We really enjoyed how private the river is at the property. We went to town one day to float down the river and it.was.so busy. Much more relaxed at the property. Woinshet and Keith have kayaks to use while you stay.The cabin has everything you need for cooking and many board games for the family. We look forward to our next stay."

"Room was very nice - large and well equipped with separate bedroom and everything you could need in the kitchen. Stayed during wildfire season at the beginning of August and it was hot and smokey which made sleeping difficult. They should invest in air conditioning or heat pumps to improve the experience. Front desk was also limited which made it difficult at times to get help when needed."

"The chalet was awesome! Super clean, beautifully decorated and really comfortable beds. My daughter said she had the best sleep in her bed, not to mention the big king size bed in the master bedroom. We were evacuated from the wildfires and needed to do all our cooking there. It was fully equipped with all the cooking utensils and pots that I needed. Even some thoughtful extras like make-up towels. We took advantage of some hiking and there was a gym in the village so I could keep my workout routine. Would highly recommend anytime of the year."
