The bedding and bathrooms were clean however the carpets and upholstery was very stained/dirty. The fridge door was difficult to open as it has no handle, I realise it didn't quite fit into the space but even a stick on handle on the door would have helped. "We really loved this house. It's been beautifully renovated and was spotlessly clean. Its all very functional and easy. The estate agent who manages the house was very easy to deal with, eg when we wanted to stay an extra night. The area has tons to offer (albeit some places are a 40 minute drive). "Immaculate property with all mod cons, amazing value for money."

"We stayed here in early December for my partner's birthday. The main reasons for booking Red House Barns were the location (not too far from Aldeburgh and Southwold) and the hot tubs, and we were not disappointed on either of these fronts. Christmas is a great time to go as you have the Christmas shop on site and a small stall that sells coffees, bacon rolls, etc. which was really useful. "This little cottage is ideally located opposite a well stocked local shop and close to coast path walks which is particularly handy if you have a dog. It is well equipped and is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area. Highly recommended."
