"Beautiful Portuguese Casa with lovely garden, pool, and breakfast/rec room. Amazing collections of various items on display everywhere you look. The hostess. Ari, was wonderful and so very helpful. The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Rio Maior is only an hour or so from Lisbon and so much more relaxing to stay and enjoy the surrounding sites. Would definitely recommend Casa do Foral. They pay attention to details and will make your stay so very enjoyable. "

"Ce n'est pas un hotel mais un airbnb. Si l'hébergement est correct, la qualité de service est catastrophique. L'addresse est celle d'un immeuble résidentiel au milieu de nulle part, pas de possibilité de récupérer les clefs sur place sauf si un résident accepte d'ouvrir la porte. Les gestionnaires de "l'hotel" peuvent vous envoyer complètement ailleurs en ville pour récupérer les clefs, ou facturer 20€ pour faire venir quelqu'un sur place. "No one ever came to let us in the front door. When residents went in and out, that is how we got in. Once getting into the building, figuring out codes and keys was pretty straightforward. It was clean and comfy and close to everything we needed. Don’t get discouraged, it is a very nice place…you just have to be independent."
