"We liked that this hotel had EV chargers and was walking distance to downtown. Breakfast was great in the morning but in the evening their bar was closed because they didn’t have staff to run it, which was disappointing."

"I was extremely extremely happy with my stay at The Grand Tappattoo Resort. Staff was amazing and helpful 24/7. The food so delicious. The room big, clean, and so cozy. The view of the lake was spectacular with all the beautiful colors of fall. Had a campfire and the trillion stars in the sky was overwhelming beautiful. There was so much more to do - pool, kayaks, canoes etc Definitely coming again. Like their saying says “Where Traditions Start” - now our tradition is to come every year - see you next year!!!!"

"The property is lovely, the staff was very nice, and the food was terrific! The room, and I would assume all the rooms in Maplewood Building would be similar, could use some tlc. The carpet has been in there for years, since there were wood-burning fireplaces. It had burn marks and stains all over it, as well as a large visible seam across it. Other than the fact that it’s age is showing, I have no complaints."

"AMAZING VACATION, Highly recommend.All the cottages I have been to have tons of Mosquitos and this cottage has almost no Mosquitos.VERY Spacious cottage with big bedrooms and cathedral Ceiling, with 3 king beds2 Queen 1 single and 1 Pull out coach it allows up to 13 people to sleep over.The kitchen is very well equipped, and everything was in good working order.We really enjoyed all the amenities and well equipped …board games, Babington/volleyball net, canoe, bikes, spa. Ideal garden for relaxing and for the kids to play. Rocky beach across the street to go for a swim. Lots of sandy beaches are also easily accessible. Parking Passes for the Awenda park, a few minutes by car from the house, are available to enjoy it for free."

"We had a wonderful long weekend there. It was a chance to get away with our 2 sons that are rarely home from school. It is a classic cottage. Exactly what we wanted. The lake is beautiful and quiet except for the occasional water skier. We swam and paddled. The cottage had everything we needed to make great meals and just relax. There are tons of board and card games and a fantastic fire pit near the water. Like I said it is rustic but it brings to mind the way cottages used to be. Time for family and friends and not giant tvs and marble countertops. Oh and the beds were very comfortable. We plan to return next year."

"One of the best cottage stays ever! Robert and Rosanne were excellent hosts. First of all, the short boat trip to the cottage is amazing , Rob explained a lil history about the bridge. He explained everything well and check-in was so seamless. The cottage has a personal touch and the patio is excellent. What a view! We enjoyed the water, the lily pad was so nice to have, Everything was very clean and as beautiful as the picture, even better. It is a very quiet serene place. They had kept enough drinking water. Overall 101/100. We would love to visit again."
