"We had a late check in. Arrived about 8 pm, so it was dark. The type of hotel I used see as a kid and I'm over 60. A straight row of connected rooms with parking just outside your room door. Our room was clean and neat. Arnprior had the typical fast food places within walking distance from our motel. We ate at A&W. We were taking a Pranic Healing course in Ottawa, so it was about a 40 minute drive to Ottawa. Easy to access hwy 417. Could hear the traffic from the highway but not enough to bother us. We didn't even turn the TV on since we were so tired. We had driven 3 hrs to get to Ottawa starting our dive at 6:15 am. The beds were very comfortable. Our room #21, had a double and a single bed. We left on Sunday around 8:30 am, back to Ottawa for our 2nd day of instruction. We were happy with the room, just what we needed for a one night stay. We both had a shower before leaving, lots of hot water. You just have adjust the round faucet very slowly to get the desired temperature. For those reading this and have an open mind to energy healing. Do a search on Pranic Healing and see if it resonates with you. I've now seen it first hand and it worked for me and my daughter. "This is an outstanding property. We had the added benefit of the fall colours, but it is a perfect spot for a quiet and restful break at anytime of the year. The hosts are wonderful and the interior touches reflect the detailed care taken to provide a premier rental property. We hope to return during a warmer season to enjoy the outdoor spaces and the lake.M & L"
Yurtopia on the Lake

"My husband and I had a lovely stay at Yurtopia. The yurt itself is an impressive space and very well thought out. The living space is large and includes a full kitchen and table to eat at. We were there in the fall and made full use of the wood burning stove, which was lovely. The yurt is well appointed with kitchen tools, we ate dinners out, but made breakfast at the yurt and found everything we needed. The surrounding area is beautiful with great hiking and a beautiful lake. We drove into Arnprior for dinner and a move at the O'Brien Theatre, which I highly recommend. We had a wonderful stay, thank you for everything, Bruce!"
