Rock Ledge motel was very close to Alexandria Bay for walking and catching tours. Pet friendly is always a concern and our pup was welcome here.
I love the charm of older establishments, and appreciate the hard work it takes to maintain and improve them. The room was spacious and clean. We rented a king bedrooom. It provided all that we expected for an older motel. The staff was friendly. The area felt safe and quiet when we stayed there 3 nights in September.
Pet friendly big areas for pets to room.. rooms were clean , beautiful view from our deck. Owner friendly . Pool well kept
I would definitely go there again. Nice place to stay
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and even though the motel is located on highway 12 it was quiet for sleeping at night.
On improving the property, I would have to say the rooms were small and could you use an update. Since the cabins were built in 1948 it follows the style of that time period, and could you use an update. The bathroom facilities were small and old. And update would be welcomed.
Very close in proximity to Alexandria Bay. We could even walk. You will cross the street then the road is calm and a nice walk to downtown. About 1mile to downtown. The property owner is professionally attentive. He checked on us daily to ensure we were happy. The housekeepers came daily to refresh the room. They were professional and helpful.
Our stay was great! It was quiet and charming and the all the staff there is great. The motel is being update and becoming more Modernized by the day! The rooms are all very comfortable however and we love staying there whenever we can.
Fred at the front desk was nice and welcoming. Location is great, across the street from a state park. There is a swimming pool in that park. The beds are comfortable.
