"The heated floor in the bathroom is always a winner every visit. Disappointed that you now can’t get dinner in the bar. As a single person travelling for work, it’s never great having to sit in a busy restaurant"

"We had been traveling for a few days and want a nice place to recharge. This place was it. The at the front desk processed us quickly and in a friendly manner, We had arrived late and just wanted a drink and a late night snack. The bartender was very nice and took great care of us. The room was very comfortable and quite ever though the hotel appeared to be full. The bed was comfortable and the next mornings breakfast was excellent. We liked it so much we decided to extend our stay and enjoy the area. If we return to this area we would stay here again and recommend it to others."

"Everything about the hotel was good, very pet friendly and also caters well for people requiring accessibility. Except in the food area, breakfast was t too bad for someone like myself who requires a soft diet however if evening meals were required there was nothing available for this kind of diet.especially if the guest wanted to stay in. Other than this the Hotel was good."

"We arrived early but the reception staff were so helpful we left our bags with them and enjoyed a drink in the lounge bar room was ready within half hour, the room was spotless just what you expected, the staff around the hotel were extremely friendly , we had a meal at the restaurant and it was nice good food ! The breakfast was extremely good and tasty set us up for the day wound highly recommended"

"We had a wonderful stay at Guise Cottage as a family of 3. The cottage is in a beautiful location overlooking the farm and fields. It is very peaceful and the sunsets and sunrises were amazing! We loved sitting in the sunroom watching the skies and the animals and then retiring to the cosy living room with wood burner. The cottage was quickly heated and we really found it was a home from home. Beds were super comfy and the shower was excellent. Kitchen was very well equipped and we had all we needed. Liz is a fantastic host and it was great to have her on site in case we needed anything. Our son loved watched the sheep, cows, donkey and pony. We stayed here to be close to family in Alford. Highly recommend the Forbes Arms - we had a lovely meal. Itâ€™s such a beautiful area and Craigievar Castle is very nearby. We visited Castle Fraser also and did a small Speyside Distillery tour. Mither Tap is nearby for the hill walkers. just too much to fit in during a weekâ€™s stay! The weather definitely made it for us as well. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a lovely stay and keep up the fantastic work on the beautiful farm. We were in awe watching all you do."
