"I really loved Castiglione di Sicilia - the town is perched on top of a crest of mountain and looks amazing as you are driving in. This seemed like quite a small town with lots of older folk in their older fiats and renaults, or sitting on street corners for a coffee or drink. "Just ok. We were told we could check-in at 12 on confirmation, but they said it was 1400 and we were early. Breakfast good. Toilet leaked, so had water on floor. Bed snd pillows very uncomfortable."

"Absolutely love this guest house. I had a taxi arranged for pick up at train station for 10 e, the apartment is visually stunning and the decor is gorgeous ! Staff are incredibly friendly and efficient. The beds were so comfortable and the building was quiet as a mouse at bedtime. I love my little balcony, air conditioning and the shower was the best experience after a long day of travel, very easy to get around the city and to the beach and back. Cannot wait to return next summer. "

"I was there October 20 to the 23. It’s worth the nightly rate. The town of Naxos is just down the street. Interesting for a one day visit. I experienced far better beaches. The staff are very friendly and of assistance. The pictures of the vistas from the hotel are not accurate. You can’t see much from the hotel. On balance if you are visiting Naxos, it’s worth the rate."
